What is Memorial Day?
Over 1,354,664, according to Wikipedia, is the number of US service members who have died in conflicts.
On Monday the flag will be raised to the top of the flagstaff and then lowered to half mast to honor those who have given their life for OUR country. At noon the flag will once again be raised to the top to show that we are to rise above and strive to move forward, lest their sacrifice would have been in vain. Stop and reflect a few minutes this weekend and give thanks and remember the families that live every day with their loss.
Let us never forget those who died and those who are living with the loss. Remember what this holiday is all about. Enjoy your family and friends. Remind them they are Americans and someone has paid to make us free.
MAY GOD BLESS THESE FAMILIES!
MAY GOD BLESS THE USA!
