Our Largest Stainless Steel Project to Date

We just completed a job for Bespoke Millwork that we wouldn't have been able to do a couple of months ago because we didn't have the equipment. Their job required laser engraving and laser cutting 5 pieces of 16 gauge stainless steel that you see above. Three of the pieces were 29" wide and 42" tall, and the other 2 pieces were large odd shaped cut-outs. If you have been reading my blogs for a while, you may remember the one where I introduced a new piece of equipment, a 250W Coherent laser. We put it to use and laser cut all 5 pieces.

After the 3 pieces 27" X 42" were laser cut, we then laser engraved them with the words at the bottom. "BUILD YOUR FUTURE". The Pennzoil logo, which is about 23" long, and the UTI logo were also laser cut on the Coherent 250W laser. After the laser cutting, we used our CO2 lasers to mark the two logos onto the pieces using Cermark. Cermark is a heat activated marking solution that forms a black permanent mark where it is struck by the laser. It's a great way to mark material.

As I stated earlier, we wouldn't have been able to do this without our new machine. We are always looking for ways to better serve our customers. Bespoke Millwork was pleased with the product, and better yet, so was their customer. Kevin and Cesar were a pleasure to work with and we look forward to their next project.

Keep Engrave It Houston in mind for all your stainless steel laser cutting and engraving. We want to help you please your customers.
